1. Calculation boundary
Each recognized letter is mapped to the value table named below and summed. Spaces, punctuation, numerals, emoji, vowel points, accents, and cantillation marks do not add value. The visible result includes every counted character.
2. Strict and assisted handling
Strict mode calculates only the scripts actually entered. Assisted mode may suggest an exact Hebrew or Greek form when an English gloss or transliteration matches the curated biblical-word index. It does not machine-translate, reconstruct, or guess a spelling.

Mispar Hechrachi: א–ט are 1–9, י–צ are 10–90, and ק–ת are 100–400. Final letters retain their ordinary values.

Mispar Gadol convention: the five final forms ך, ם, ן, ף, and ץ may be counted as 500–900.

4. Source and interpretation boundary
Reverse-lookup entries identify a biblical-language form and an example verse where that form occurs, using Westminster Leningrad Codex reference forms for Hebrew and SBL Greek New Testament reference forms for Greek. The verse is a provenance pointer, not a claim that the passage teaches a numerical meaning. English ciphers are labeled modern and are not presented as ancient biblical methods.
5. Permanent results and privacy
A result URL is created only when the visitor chooses Share. The entered text is stored in that URL so another reader can reproduce it. Analytics record the detected script, method count, handling mode, and share action—not the entered word, phrase, or calculated value.
